The Quilter Foundation

Our mission

The Quilter Foundation is Quilter’s charity. It supports the delivery of our Responsible Business approach – the Shared Prosperity Plan - specifically our commitments to communities and wider society.

The Foundation supports the many thousands of young people in our communities who face a multitude of challenges. Its mission is to help young people overcome barriers to prosperity. By providing funding and skills to charitable organisations, our aim is to empower young people to fulfil their potential, thrive and prosper.

Our impact

Since its launch in 2018, The Quilter Foundation has made a lasting impact on thousands of young people in our local communities. The highlights include:

  • 22,910 young people have been supported by The Quilter Foundation through our charity partnerships.
  • Of those young people reached, there has been an average increase in wellbeing and resilience by 69% (rising to 93% for some interventions). *
  • Over £2.5 million has been donated to our charity partners sustaining them to provide financial literacy, employment, and wellbeing support.
  • Over 365 Quilter employees and advisers have engaged with the Foundation through volunteering.

  • £1,589,608 donated to the Young Carers Campaign through leading charity partners, Carers Trust, The Mix and Crossroads reaching over 5,500 young carers in the UK and Isle of Man.
  • After just over a year, 63% of young people we supported entered employment, education or training.
