Appointment of a new Non-executive Director
On Thursday 18 April, we announced that Alison Morris has been appointed as an independent Non-executive Director of the Company and is expected to join the Board on Monday 9 September 2024. Alison will also join the Board Audit Committee and Board Risk Committee.
Alison’s deep financial expertise and audit experience in the financial services sector will enable her to make a significant contribution to the Board and the aforementioned Board Committees. We are looking forward to welcoming Alison to the Board.
In our Annual Report and Notice of Annual General Meeting, the Board confirmed its commitment to complying in full with the Listing Rules and our Board Diversity Policy and would pay particular attention to achieving these targets as the Board was further refreshed. We are delighted that when Alison joins the Board, 40% of the Board will be women and we will again meet all three Board diversity targets specified by the Listing Rules and our Board Diversity Policy.
